It is with a very heavy heart that we pass along the news that CMSgt Jerome ‘Jerry’ Rouleau (Ret) passed away on Thursday, 25 July, 2019. He was 80 years young.
Jerry Rouleau served with the 148th Fighter Wing as a Recruiter and was a life-long advocate of the Minensota National Guard Enlisted Association. He served as State President from 1994 to 1996 and in many other roles with the Association and was an active member with his local Chapter 48 (Duluth, MN) serving on the Schoalrship Committee. He also was a member of American Legion Post 71 (Duluth) and Auxiliary member of Veteran of Foreign Wars Post 137 (Duluth), serving on the Combined Honor Guard.
More details to follow as final arrangements are being made by his family. As of this posting, it was announced that the funeral will be begin at 11:00 am on Monday, August 5, 2019 at Our Savior Lutheran Church, 4831 Grand Ave., Duluth, Minnesota 55807. Arrangements are pending with Bell Brothers Jarvi Dowd Funeral Home, Duluth, Minnesota. Military Honors will be held at 3:00 at the State Cemetery in Pike Lake.
