During the MNGEA State Conference, the Auxiliary will be collecting your Pop Tops and Toiletries in support of the Ronald McDonald House Charities.

The Ronald McDonald House Foundation began serving families with seriously ill children in Minnesota on October 20, 1979. A small but determined group of parents, physicians, friends and McDonald’s owner operators worked together to purchase and renovate a former boarding house near the University of Minnesota campus. On opening day, the House had room for just eight families.

Over the past 35+ years, the organization has grown considerably. They are now called Ronald McDonald House Charities, Upper Midwest and they’ve expanded from a single house with limited space to three programs located across the metro area:

Ronald McDonald House – Oak Street: Opened in October 1979
Ronald McDonald House – Children’s, Minneapolis : Opened in November 2010
Ronald McDonald Family Room – Gillette, St. Paul: Opened in July 2011
Ronald McDonald Family Room – Children’s, St. Paul – Opened July 2015

The Ronald McDonald House Foundation is proud to provide a home-away-from-home to families with seriously-ill children who are seeking the expert medical care available in the Twin Cities.

Help MNGEA support families in need by bringing in your pop tops and hotel-size toiletries to State Conference!
