The EANGUS WyoTech Scholarship is an institutional scholarship program for new students who enroll at either the Laramie, WY or Daytona Beach, FL WyoTech campuses on or after January 1, 2017. The program features a limited number of scholarships available to candidates that will apply and compete at the Area and National levels. There are 7 EANGUS locations that will each have the opportunity to award 5 National Guard members a scholarship in the amount of $5,000, a total of 35 awards. In addition, one (1) of these recipient’s award will be upgraded to a full scholarship to be applied to any complete program offered at either the Laramie, WY or Daytona Beach, FL WyoTech campuses to cover tuition, books and initial supply of uniforms (tool deposit and housing fees excluded). The candidate awarded has one year from award date to redeem the award by beginning classes at WyoTech.
Who is Eligible for the EANGUS/WyoTech Scholarship?
Answer: Currently Serving or Retired Members of the Army or Air National Guard from any State, provided that they have a currently paid membership in their State Association and in the Enlisted Association of the National Guard of the United States (EANGUS).
Are Spouses of National Guard Members eligible to apply for this Scholarship?
Answer: No, only the Service Member is eligible for this year’s EANGUS WyoTech Scholarship Program. Spouses and children are not eligible to apply. We are working with the provider on the 2018 Scholarship and exploring the ability to expand the Scholarship eligibility at a later time.
Where are the training locations for this Scholarship?
Answer: Scholarship winners will enroll at either the Laramie, WY or Daytona Beach, FL campus locations.

What documents to I need in order to be able to fill out this application?
Answer:
• You will need a digital version of your membership card (Available by logging into your State Assocation website),
• An essay letter written by you explaining your desire to pursue WyoTech training and why financial assistance is required,
• A reference letter from a leader in your unit on unit letterhead is you are a currently serving member of the National Guard, or
• A reference letter from someone in a leadership position within your State Association if you are separated or retired from the National Guard.
