Congratulations to Leila Samuelson and Alicia Lagarde! They are this year’s MNGEA Chapter 48 (Duluth) Scholarship award recipients. Both will receive a $1000 scholarship towards their college/university of choice. Leila Samuelson will be attending Concordia College and Alicia Lagarde will attend Simmons University later this fall. Leila is the daughter of Steve and Julie Samuelson, both retirees of the 148th Fighter Wing. Alicia Lagarde is a TSgt currently serving in the 148th Fighter Wing’s Headquarters Group. Best of luck to both as they continue their educational dreams!
