Kaiden C. Johnson was recently selected as the 2024 MNGEA Minuteman Scholarship recipient and received a check for $1000 towards his post secondary goals. Below is a letter from Kaiden upon learning he was selected.

Dear MNGEA and USAA,
Hello! My name is Kaiden Johnson and I will be attending my first year at Northwest Iowa Community College this fall. I received the Minuteman Scholarship Award in the amount of $1,000 dollars to use towards my education. I am extremely honored and humbled to accept this scholarship and so very thankful for your generously donating the money towards my education. I will also be on the trap shooting team at NCC, I have been involved with shooting sports since I was 11 years old and it makes me ecstatic to continue my shooting career at NCC.
I decided to attend NCC due to their amazing electrical program. I will be attending the Commercial and Industrial wiring program at NCC this fall. This scholarship will help me to pay for tuition and books. With this scholarship it will help the financial burden that comes along with attending college. This money will lower the cost of bills and push me to work hard in and out of the classroom. My goal is to graduate at the top of my class and be a leader in the electrical field well beyond school.
Again I cannot thank you enough for your generosity and giving me a chance to continue my education and shooting career. I promise to work hard in the classroom and aim straight out on the trap range!
Sincerely,
Kaiden C. Johnson

We congratulate Kaiden and wish him well on his journey to bigger and brighter achievements!
