The House recently passed four bills that help give homeless veterans and their families the financial assistance they need. It will also make V.A.’s websites more accessible and ensure veterans are remembered and memorialized with honor. The four bills which now await Senate action are as follows:

H.R. 95: Ensures that children of homeless veterans are included in the calculation of the amounts of specific per diem grants.

H.R. 2385: Permits the V.A. to establish a grant program to conduct cemetery research and produce educational materials for the Veterans Legacy Program.

H.R. 1199: Directs VA to conduct a study regarding the accessibility of websites of the Department of Veterans Affairs to individuals with disabilities.

H.R. 2334: Designate VA’s Community-Based Outpatient Clinic (CBOC) in Odessa, Texas, as the “Wilson and Young Medal of Honor VA Clinic.”
