MNGEA (Minnesota National Guard Enlisted Association) lost a great patriot, mentor, and friend on 30 Nov. Robert E. “Bob” Metcalf passed away peacefully in his sleep on 30 November 2021. Bob Metcalf gave his heart and soul to our Association from being it’s Treasurer, State President (twice), Area V Hospitality Guru, Conference bus driver, Time & Place Chair and much more. He took many of us under his wing, mentored us, showed us the importance of the Enlisted Association and gave the shirt off his back to many. Bob was a proud 34th MP soldier and First Sergeant. He is beloved by his family and friends and will be sorely missed. Thank you Bob for everything you did for MNGEA. RIP dear friend!
