From the Office of Congressman John Kline (2nd District – MN)
Knowing of your support for an efficient VA that serves our veterans, I wanted to ensure you saw that Congressman John Kline plans to introduce legislation in the near future to protect veterans from erroneous billing procedures at the VA.
The legislation Congressman Kline will introduce responds to the experience of more than 1,400 Minnesota and Wisconsin veterans who received bills from the VA for services provided years in the past. Congressman Kline’s bill will allow the Secretary of Veterans Affairs to waive copayments for past care when the VA erred by billing the veteran late and it will provide important reforms and protections for veterans in the billing process.
Yesterday, The Hill published an article covering Congressman Kline’s legislation. You can read The Hill’s story here.
