Fold of Honor is offering educational scholarships to spouses and children of America’s fallen and disabled service-members (qualifications attached, but a service-connected 10% disability rating as assigned by the VA is required for our most common scholarship: higher ed). Recently the Minnesota chapter has been raising significantly more scholarship funds than we have been able to give out to Minnesota veteran families, due to low scholarship application rates in the state. Last year we handed out 116 scholarships here locally, and would love to double that number in 2022. Scholarships are up to $5,000 per calendar year. Any raised funds that are not able to go to the children and spouses of Minnesota veterans go to the national organization to be distributed to states where they are needed most. The application window is short – it is open now through March 31, 2022.
